Each year, Herkimer High School publishes a yearbook, the Ye Green Quill.The yearbook club is open to any student in grades 7-12. Students involved in the club are responsible for selling ads, setting up all of the pages on yearbook, collecting all the scores and reports, taking pictures of all events, and writing up all of the captions and text.

Meetings are every Wednesday but students must spend a lot of their own time (before school, after school, at lunch, during study halls) gathering all the information and working on the pages.

Yearbook starts the first Wednesday in September and the yearbook is finished the last week of February.Then work on the next year's book begins in April.
