 | Living Environment Text (Miller and Levine) We are using the Prentice Hall's Biology written by Kenneth Miller and Joseph Levine. This text book is often referred to as the "Dragon Fly Book" because of its cover. Miller and Levine have a text book web site availble to students.

 Environmental Science Text This is the text used for the Environmental Science Course. This is an elective science course that may be taken sophomore, junior, or senior year. Due to the mix of grades it is expected that all students will act in a respectful and mature manner. It is expected that not all students will have the same science background. We will have a busy year discussing environmental issues, policies, water pollution, air pollution, agricultural practices, fossil fuels, climate change, alternative energies, sustainable living and all the science behind these issues. We will look at current issues as well as historical perspectives. |
 Anatomy and Physiology Text This is Herkimer's first year offering Anatomy and Physiology to our juniors and seniors! I am looking forward to an exciting year of new material. Although this course is not an honors class and all who have an interest are encouraged to take the course, it is very challenging due to the overall amount of material. Students should establish a study routine day one.

 Castle Learning On Line School Island is a software package that the school purchases annually to help students prepare for their Regents Exams. Students are able to create an account and review all of the Regents content areas.
