Welcome to the Herkimer Elementary Library website! Our library serves as the heart of the school and is quite a busy place!

Every week the library is visited by each kindergarten - 6th grade class. During that time, students obtain new reading material, participate in storytime, and gain information literacy skills. Additionally, students participate in regular research projects. Even teachers can often be seen taking books from our wonderful collection! There are over 1,300 books that are circulated every week! Our school is definitely reading a lot! 

Are you looking for a certain book? Well, you can search for it from the comfort of your own home by using our electronic catalogue. Just click "OPAC" on the left and begin searching for books by keyword, title, or author. 

Library Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 3:00.
