Food Menus

Students who are well-nourished are shown to have increased problem-solving abilities, memory, verbal fluency and creativity. In recent years, nutritional standards for school meals have changed as a result of the federal Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act, which regulates school meals to ensure they are low in fat and provide the recommended dietary allowances for calories, protein, vitamins A and C, iron and calcium.

Breakfast is free to all students in September!

Available daily: Whole grain toast, assorted whole grain cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, chilled fruit and/or juice, milk.

Fresh baby carrots with hummus and peanut butter, yogurt or a cheese stick; fresh fruit; chilled fruit; and crackers

  • Thursday 9/7: Chicken patty on a bun, turkey and cheese sandwich, broccoli
