Frequently asked questions
What is Remind?
Remind is a secure two-way messaging system that helps parents and schools stay in touch.
How does Remind work?
Once parents sign up for Remind, they will begin receiving messages from the school in whatever format they have chosen (text message, email or via the Remind app). Parents can respond to any message they receive to communicate privately and directly with the sender.
Who can use Remind?
Teachers, coaches, guidance counselors and other school officials can set up Remind groups. Parents can then choose to join those groups to send and receive messages with the school.
What if I don’t want to receive Remind messages anymore?
Text users can opt out of the service at any time by replying ‘unsubscribe @(your class code)’ to any message they receive. Email users can reply with ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject line.
App users can simply delete the app from their phone. (You can also adjust the notification settings within the app to change how you are notified of any incoming messages.)
Is my information safe?
Remind doesn’t sell or share information about students, parents or teachers. Personal contact information remains private, secure and confidential, unless you choose to share it.
