Visitors to the Herkimer Central School District office will find a new face there to greet them.

Sherry Farrington has joined the district as deputy district clerk, taking over some duties from outgoing clerk Sharon Judd.

Mrs. Farrington comes to Herkimer after working as student services coordinator with the National Center for Security and Preparedness at SUNY Albany.

Mrs. Farrington, who is from Little Falls, says she is looking forward to getting to know students and staff, but she already has many close ties to Herkimer through her family. Mrs. Farrington’s husband is a Herkimer High School graduate, and her nieces and nephews attend Herkimer schools.

As deputy district clerk, she will transition to the district clerk position for the 2019-20 school year after Mrs. Judd is fully retired from the district.

Please join us in welcoming Sherry to the district!
