The SchoolTool Student/Parent Portal provides Junior & Senior High School students and their parents with the ability to view grades, class schedules, and teacher contact information online.
The portal can be accessed from any web browser, including those on mobile phones and tablets. In addition, SchoolTool offers a mobile app, which can be downloaded at no charge from the iTunes Store or Google Play.
To access your student’s information in the mobile app, enter the SchoolToolWeb home page URL (schooltool.herkimercsd.org/schooltoolweb/) when prompted, and log in with your username and password.
To sign up for the Student/Parent Portal, download and print the Request for Permission to Access Parent Portal form, complete the form and fax (315-866-8595) or deliver to high school main office, and look for an automated email to come to your inbox with your login information.
Using the Portal
To sign in, visit the SchoolToolWeb home page for Herkimer Central School. Log in with the login and password information you received by email. (This is the same information you will use to log in to the mobile app, if you choose to download it.)
To find a student’s grades, click the blue arrow next to the student’s name to access his or her records. Look for the “Grades” tab to navigate to student grades.
To choose a new password, click the “Account” tab and follow the prompts to change your password.
If you forgot your password, log in with no password, and click the “Forgot” link. An email will be sent to you with instructions to reset your password.
