Herkimer Jr./Sr. High School senior Jenna Vincent was recently chosen as one of the Observer-Dispatch’s Teen All-Stars for 2018.

Vincent was one of 25 students chosen from more than 100 who applied for the award. She and her fellow All-Stars were honored at a breakfast on Tuesday, May 22, in Whitesboro. Guest speaker was Barry J. Sinnott of the Bank of Utica.

The Teen All-Stars program is presented by the O-D and recognizes dynamic, outstanding students.

Vincent, the daughter of William and Karen Vincent, is one of four siblings and told the newspaper that she plans to attend Syracuse University, and that she hopes to discover her next steps through further study.

“I am unsure what career I would like to pursue but hope to find out through taking college courses,” Vincent said.

At Herkimer, Vincent has been involved in tennis, student council and school theater productions. She has participated in the Mohawk Valley Choral Society and has competed at the All County and Area All State festivals.
