After returning the completed form to the main office, a registration packet will be mailed to your house. Please complete and bring the packet when you come to registration.
Universal prekindergarten registration

Do you have a child who will be 4 years old by Dec. 1, 2020? If so, give us a call!
Universal Pre-kindergarten is a free program open to all families that are residents of Herkimer Central School District. Children are taught by certified teachers using a curriculum aligned to K-5 programs.
Transportation is provided home from the program after dismissal. Lunch is provided during the school day.
Enrollment is based on a random selection process, but all are eligible to apply. To have your child’s name added to the preliminary list and to receive a pre-kindergarten packet, call the Elementary Office at (315) 866-8562.
Parents/guardians must bring the following things to complete the application process:
- Child’s birth certificate
- Proof of residency in the district (such as a utility bill, lease or bank statement)
- Custody papers, if applicable
