Rising sixth-graders are invited to Herkimer Jr./Sr. High School for orientation on Tuesday, Aug. 27, to get to know their schedules and get acquainted with the school building.
Orientation will begin at 9 a.m. Bus transportation will be provided for all students to orientation, but parents may drop students off if they prefer.
Once at school, students will gather in the auditorium for a welcome, and will have the chance to visit their lockers. Students can bring anything they would like to put in their lockers.
Lunch will be provided to all students, including “make your own subs” and a peanut-butter-and-jelly alternative. Orientation will wrap up at noon, with bus transportation available to take students home.
We look forward to welcoming the Class of 2026 to Herkimer Jr./Sr. High!
