A donation from Walmart to the Herkimer Police Department will help fund holiday gifts for Herkimer Elementary students this December.
On the occasion of the Herkimer Walmart store’s grand re-opening in July, HPD announced that it had received a $3,000 donation from the store that will allow them to treat 12 Herkimer Elementary students to its third annual “Shop with a Cop” event in December.
