Student musicians from Herkimer Jr./Sr. High School were part of the village’s 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony marking the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The Jr./Sr. High School marked the 9/11 anniversary with a moment of silence. Eighth-grade students enrolled in Enrichment 8 Social Studies also worked on a project to mark the anniversary, interviewing community members about first responders on 9/1 to create presentations based on what they learn from their firsthand research.
