The New York State Public High School Athletic Association recently recognized teams from the Herkimer Central School District as scholar-athlete teams for the fall sports season. The teams include: boys cross country, boys soccer, cheerleading, field hockey, girls cross country, and girls soccer.To receive scholar-athlete team recognition, the team’s average GPA for 75 percent of the roster must be greater than or equal to 90. Players whose GPA is 90 or higher also receive scholar athlete pins.
Overall, 52 student-athletes earned pins for the fall sports season.
