Q. What date did you start in the new role?

A. Fall 2025.

Q. What is your background experience that led to this position?

A. I went to college at the Crane School of Music from 2020-2024. Then I taught general music and chorus at Utica this past school year.

Q. What makes you excited about working in your new role at Herkimer CSD?

A. I’m excited to get to help students explore music as a way to express themselves and share their gifts with others!

Q. When did you first know you wanted become a music teacher and what made you feel that way?

A. I first knew I wanted to become a music teacher during my freshman year of high school. All of the great teachers I had along the way helped me to realize that this was what I wanted to do!

Q. What do you think makes Herkimer CSD special?

A. I think Herkimer is special because it has such a caring and inspiring community to support our students!

Q. How does it make you feel to now be working at Herkimer CSD after previously going to school here?

A. It feels so amazing to be able to give back to the school and community that gave me so much! It feels full circle to be able to teach in the same room I first started playing in band!
