Q. What date did you start in the new role?

A. Sept. 5, 2023

Q. What is your background experience that led to this position?

A. After graduating from Morrisville with a bachelor’s degree in business, I found that it was not entirely what I wanted to pursue as my career. I ultimately made the decision to go back to school to pursue a career in teaching and eventually receive my master’s degree in elementary education.

Q. What makes you excited about working in your new role at Herkimer CSD?

A. What makes me most excited about working in the Herkimer CSD is the endless amount of opportunities the school has to offer. I look forward to working closely with a great group of colleagues and students!

Q. When did you first know you wanted become a teacher/licensed teaching assistant and what made you feel that way?

A. Growing up having parents that worked in a school district, I had the opportunity to spend quite a bit of time in the classroom. I always had a passion for teaching and learning new things which ultimately gave me the ambition to work in the school environment.

Q. What do you think makes Herkimer CSD special?

A. Herkimer provides its students with so many unique opportunities to learn and grow! I am so proud to be a part of the team that focuses on educating students’ young minds.
