Herkimer CSD celebrates Class of 2025 top 10

Herkimer Central School District recently announced the top 10 students with the highest grade-point averages for the Class of 2025 and honored them with a breakfast celebration.

Herkimer High School Principal Zachary Abbe and high school counselor Carolyn Saugh presented the breakfast to the students to celebrate their hard work that has led to their academic achievement.

“Ten students with 10 different backgrounds and 10 paths to success all earned this achievement,” Abbe said. “These 10 students represent the Class of 2025 well with their commitment to education and their willingness to put in the necessary effort. They are well prepared for their next steps after high school.”

The top 10, listed alphabetically by last name, are: Bianca Barreto, Sydney Bell, Danny Bleaking, Christopher Farrell, Brian Flint, McKenna Gargas, Audrey McDonnell, Chase Pettengill, Zachary Petucci and Ariana Verenich. The Class of 2025 graduation takes place on Friday, June 27.
