‘An Afternoon of One Acts’ play moved to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 23

The spring production of “An Afternoon of One Acts” has been moved to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 23, at Myers Park in Herkimer. It was originally scheduled for 2 p.m., but moved because of the weather.

The production features about 14 students performing in two, one-act plays including “The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet” and “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon.” Both are comedies.

“This is great, because it’s bringing back the arts after not having them,” said director Jillian LaLonde. “You can see how much it brings the kids back to being themselves. It’s nice to see them up on stage again.”

Please bring a blanket or chair to watch the performance. Guests must sit with family and are subject to COVID screenings.
