Q. What date did you start in the new role?
A. Sept. 8, 2026.

Q. What is your background experience that led to this position?
A. I have had no prior experience in education until last school year as a part-time substitute, but I do have years of customer service experience.

Q. What makes you excited about working in your new role at Herkimer CSD?
A. I’m excited to be part of a wonderful team dedicated to helping children learn and grow and have fun along the way!

Q. When did you first know you wanted to become a teacher and what made you feel that way?
A. Last school year, I filled in as a substitute for the last few weeks of school, and I liked it! So much so that I went and got my license to become a full-time LTA.

Q. What do you think makes Herkimer CSD special?
A. As a parent of children that attend Herkimer CSD and as a teaching assistant, I can wholeheartedly say that Herkimer CSD really cares about its students and the community. I am very fortunate to have both of my children and now myself as part of the Herkimer family.
